The Animal Control and Welfare Project, Inc. / Summers County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) West Virginia corporation with operating funds based on donations, grants, fundraising events, and membership dues.
Purposes:
The purposes of this corporation are:
the prevention of cruelty to animals
the relief of suffering among animals
the extension of humane education
to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection within the area served by the organization
to seek to return lost animals to their owners
to seek suitable homes for animals without owners
to provide services to low income families for spay / neuter of their pets.
This all-volunteer organization serves the Summers County, West Virginia area.

Your donations will be used for our spay / neuter clinics, the costs related to animal adoptions and for the planning, building and operating a new animal rescue shelter.
